The New Creationism

2 months to go

A Biblical View On Origins Issues

Paul Garner and Stephen Lloyd will look at the New Creationism emerging in UK, and highlight some fascinating scientific and theological issues.

Paul Garner and Dr Stephen Lloyd are international speakers on origins issues, who work with The Biblical Creation Society, a UK creationist group founded in 1976.

Paul's recent book "The New Creationism" is a wonderfully positive overview of the state of creationist research.  Paul is a Fellow of the Geological Society. Before working for BCS, he was employed as a Senior Information Scientist for a pharmaceutical company.  He has a thorough grasp of a variety of scientific issues of interest.

Stephen has contributed to various books, articles & research projects and enjoyed some lively debates with theistic evolutionists, notably Denis Alexander.  He recently appeared on Channel Four, putting forward a creationist view. Stephen will share some theological insights relevant to on-going debates, addressing why this matters.

Both Paul and Stephen are first-class speakers and will provide much food for thought. This will be a highly informative and thought-provoking day for all.

10am: “Why does it matter? What’s at stake in the creation/evolution debate?” - Stephen Lloyd

11:45am: “The New Creationism - With Integrity” - Paul Garner

1pm: BYO lunch

1:30pm-3pm: Q&A

There is no charge made for the day and no need to book.  An offering will be taken, which will go to support Paul & Stephen in their ministry.
