We enjoy a close relationship with Newton Flotman (Cof E) Primary School. The children visit the church regularly and church members help in school too. We've been running with the national "Open the Book" programme in weekly collective worship in the school, and are proud of our dedicated band of volunteers who help the children to discover the riches of the Bible. Every week the retired people from the village meet together at 10.30 on a Monday morning in the church room for tea and coffee, and a chance for friends old and new to meet up and spend time together. It’s a meeting place so needed in our village that has no shop or pub. We have outings to the seaside in the summer, trips out for lunch, or trip to a garden centre and a cup of tea, and at Christmas we go out for Christmas lunch. We all have a wonderful relaxed time together.

We have a thriving and supportive body of villagers, who - whilst not on the electoral roll of the church - have a concern for the preservation of our historic church building and the services it provides to the village. We are very grateful for their on-going support for the work we offer.
