Prayer in the Parish Churches Through Holy Week 2012

BOOK A SLOT HERE

DROP IN TO PRAY WEEK

During the week leading up to Easter each church in the Tas Valley has adopted a day on which to specially invite people to drop in to pray. There will be special displays and resources to help us to think about the the events of the first Easter and to meditate , enjoy some peace, light a candle or pray... including some thoughts and creative ideas from local children at Newton Flotman and Swainsthorpe.

How you can help

You can support  your local church by signing up in advance to be in church to pray on their special prayer day and to be a welcoming presence for others who drop in to pray. You can book slots for helping to man the churches for drop in during prayer week online (click above) Please note that unlike our prayer tent weeks, both "standard" and "open" slots are the exactly the same - ie then church is open to all for prayer.  However, you may wish to indicate that you could help at another time by booking a flexible slot.
